The 3rd Damascus Insurance Assembly concluded its activities on Sunday November 11, 2007 by affirming the importance of moving from the local framework into Arab meeting with international participation.
The Assembly recommended holding this meeting annually in line with a fixed date to attract more local and international participation in it, calling for necessity of concentrating on the small insurance products.
The recommendations called for abandoning the negative competition phenomena, unifying the obligatory insurance document on cars and offering insurance services of the civil responsibility resulted from practicing professions such as doctors, lawyers and engineers.
The 3rd Damascus Insurance Assembly kicked off on Saturday November 10, 2007 in the Meridian Hotel, with the participation of more than 300 figures from the Syrian, Arab and foreign insurance markets. The Assembly is held by the Insurance Supervision Commission invitation. |
