Collection Department

Collection Department carries out the following assignments:
1. Prepare drafts of laws, regulations and instructions relating to collecting public money and suggest collection’s returns, their granting rules and beneficiaries.

2. Follow-up implementing plan of taxes, duties and all financial charges with proper achieving tables. And carry out the necessary procedures to ensure maximum limits of collecting percentages.

3. Prepare statistics relating to collecting works, process their results and arrange the necessary reports about them.

4. Supervise colleting direct taxes and the similar duties as well as their extras and fines resulting from them, indirect taxes and the similar duties, which are not collected according to their due way. In general, all payables to the ministries, administrations and public bodies that have no collecting services; those payables that are transferred to the financial bodies after using all administrative demanding procedures by the relevant body without any result, as well as payables to be collected by the Ministry pursuant to the effective laws and regulations.

5. Prepare studies to develop collect’s methods, accounting and registries, aiming at developing it.

6. Prepare drafts of hachuring rules’ regulations for the dead, or dropped by prescription, taxes and duties.

7. Give opinion about the cases relating to collecting money referring to all public bodies.

8. Supervise managing, investing and selling properties and funds owned by the state according to collecting law of public funds that are registered under the name of Ministry of Finance.

Collection Department consists of:
1. Studies Section.
2. Collection Supervision Section.
3. Transactions Section.
4. Administrative Affairs Office.

Administrative Affairs Office carries out the assignments defined for Administrative Affairs Subsection at Administrative Affairs Department.
