The directorate building consists of six twenty-meters high   floors distributed as follows:

Downstairs floor consists of stores – kindergarten – requirements store – copier apparatus – a selling hall for consume institution – boilers and fuel tanks – rainwater drainages (according to the documents /3 & 4/)

Ground floor contains: treasury department – switchboard & reception office – syndicate office & the guards – principal fund – the main entrance from the western side and another one from the eastern side (document /5/)

First floor contains: collection department consists of several offices and a hall for collectors (document /6/)

Second floor consists of: the director office – IT department – administrative affairs – internal supervision – cooperation fund (document /7/)

Third floor: contains income department which consists of several offices. (Document /8/)
Fourth floor consists of: revenues department & tax inquiry consists of several offices (document /9/).

- The directorate, within the province limits and valid laws and rules extent, represents the MOF, by decentralized form, in the administrative & accounting assignments and undertakes, within the province limits, various assignments relating to the revenues and expenditures.
- The number of the employees implementing the directorate’s assignments is /491/.

2. information about the directorates of finance subordinate to the directorate in Tartous:
Four directorates of finance attach to the directorate in Tartous:
1) The directorate of finance in Shikh Bader: implements all entrusted assignments such as imposing, achieving and collecting the various taxes and duties according to the valid laws and rules, follows up collecting the receivables and pays the pensions of military pensioners.

- The directorate locates near the region leadership headquarter; it’s limited by Zaki Al-Arsuzi St from the west, a courtyard specialized for building belongs to Mr. Hammed Ali Ibraheem from the east,  the region police headquarter from the north and a courtyard specialized for building belongs to Mr. Mahmoud Sulayman from the south.
- The directorate is a reinforced concrete building of one floor.
- The number of the employees is /48/.

2) The directorate of finance in Safeeta:
implements the same assignments of the last directorate.
- The directorate location: it locates in the western side of Safeeta; it’s limited by highway of (Safeet – Tartous) from the north and south, a building belongs to Mr Ra’ed Ilias & partners from the east and a residence building from the west.

- It consists of reinforced concrete building of three floors covered with white stones. It is divided as follows:
Ground floor contains: collection section – treasury section.

First floor contains: income section – administrative affairs section.
Second floor contains: revenues and inquiry section – receivables and measures subsection. A nearby store, 10 m towards the east, was added to the location.
- The number of employees is /119/.

3) The directorate of finance in Drekeesh:
implements the same assignments of the last directorate.
- The directorate location: it locates in west side of Drekeesh at the highway of (Tartous – Drekeesh) in front of the municipality building. It’s limited by: private agricultural land from the west, houses from the east, the highway from the north and a private agricultural land from the south. Its reinforced concrete building consists of two floors with total area of /600/ m2. Each floor contains 9 rooms. The employees’ number is /79/. It contains:

First floor: the director’s office and administrative affairs – collection section – treasury section
Second floor: revenues section – income section – tax inquiry section.  

4) The directorate of finance in Panias:
implements the same assignments of the last directorate.
- The directorate location: it’s a reinforced concrete building of /12 m/ height at Joul Jammal St. it’s limited by: the street from the west, a park, houses and commercial stores from the east and the Garage from the north. It’s divided as follows:

Ground floor: commercial stores.
First floor: is occupied by a tailor, a laboratory for medical analysis and medicines.  
Second floor consists of 13 rooms occupied by the employees of the directorate of finance.
