This Department carries out the following assignments: 1. Implement the provisions of the Basic Law for State Workers No. 1 of 1985 and related instructions. 2. Follow-up implementation of Ministry’s internal regulations, suggest necessary amendments according to practical implementation, and follow-up tasks description and their commissioning conditions, originally or by proxy, in coordination with the competent Departments. 3. Carry out the necessary administrative survey of the ministry’s staff to evaluate performance efficiency, in cooperation with the competent Department. 4. Handle the Ministry’s workers affairs and prepare drafts of necessary muniments. 5. Study suggestion presented by the competent Departments about promoting the under training workers to original ones, as well as applications of fixing acting workers (Central administration and governorates’ Directorates of finance) and prepare the necessary report about everyone of them including suggestion to promote him to an original worker or not, and to fix him or not –as the case is- 6. Suggest amendments relating to tasks’ numeral staff to achieve the best use of human capacities. 7. Participate the competent Departments in modernizing their work methods and bringing techniques to them. 8. Prepare the necessary studies and suggestions to raise the level of performance, develop the work and increase cooperation environment. 9. Follow-up everything relating to facilitating services presented to citizens, and simplifying procedures in coordination with the competent Departments. 10. Carry out all aspects of professional protection and safety, cleanness and public health according to the funds specialized to that. 11. Carry out all security assignments, including the readiness during ordinary, exceptional and urgent conditions according to the funds specialized to that. 12. Take care of all kinds of power waste trying to put limits to them. 13. Carry out assignments specializations of administration’s accounting at the Ministry and expenditures of public debt. 14. Prepare nominating muniments for administration accountants at all government’s ministries, administrations, public bodies, municipalities, local administration units and all administrative sector’s bodies, according to a suggestion from General Budget Department. 15. Provide all supplies, services and works that the central administration undertakes, according to the provisions of the effective contracts’ regulations of the public administrative bodies. 16. Sell Ministry’s things, tools and materials, to be sold at the central administration according to the effective juridical rules. 17. Handle buildings’ affairs in the central administration at the governorates’ and regions’ Departments of finance provided that this is not in contradiction with Planning & Statistics Department’s assignments. 18. Manage the Ministry’s garage and machines. 19. Carry out the Ministry’s administrative divan and its archive, in addition to printing, copying and photocopying services. 20. Manage the general administration’s warehouses and supervise them pursuant to warehouses’ regulation. 21. In general, carry out all administrative affairs in the Ministry.
