Revenues Department Carries out the following Assignments:
1. Prepare drafts of laws, regulations and decisions for all aspects of taxes, duties and all financial charges, as well as their development and implementation apart from what is part of Income Department’s specialization.
2. Handle cases relating to taxes and duties (including customs duties as well as  affairs and cases relating to them), and all financial charges of all kinds apart from what is part of Income Department’s specialization.
3. Give opinion about cases presented to the Ministry relating to costs of local and general form.
4. Prepare estimations of Public Budget revenues from financial taxes and duties, in cooperation with the relevant bodies.
5. Organize actual revenues statistics of taxes, duties and financial charges.
6. Direct taxes and duties sections in the governorates’ Directorates of finance regarding taxes, duties and public charges apart from what is part of Income Department’s specialization.
7. Prepare regulations and instructions relating to confining, managing and investing public wealth in cooperation with the competent services.
8. Follow-up collecting returns of privileged companies and institutions including oil companies.
9. Supervise works relating to financial stamps and valuable papers, prepare the necessary plans to secure their printing, form their committees and supervise the implementation of those plans.
10. Analyze and study the state’s revenues, give comments about them and make suggestions about them as well.
11. Study inspection reports relating to revenues and handle their suggestions.
12. Handle Expatriates’ affairs pursuant to the provisions of Law (19) of 1990 and its executive instructions and communiqués.

Revenues Department consists of the following:
1. Revenues Estimation and follow-up Section.
2. Taxes on Real Estate and Animal Income Section.
3. Taxes and Duties on Production, Expenditure and consumption Section.
4. Customs Affairs Section.
5. Different Taxes, returns and Revenues Section.
6. Expatriates Affairs Section.
7. Administrative Affairs Section.

The Administrative Affairs Section carries out the assignments and specializations of Administrative Affairs Subsection in the Administrative Affairs Department

A. Expatriates Affairs Section handles all affairs relating to Expatriates, which Ministry of Finance handles pursuant to Law (10) of 1990 and its executive instructions and communiqués.

B. Expatriate Affairs Section consists of:
1. expatriate Fees Subsection.
2. Expatriates Fees Statistics and Administrative Dealings related to those fees Subsection.
C. Expatriates Fees Subsection handles all legal affairs relating to Expatriates fees.
D. Expatriates Fees Statistics and Administrative Dealings Related to Those Fees Subsection carries out statistical operations related to those fees and handles all administrative affairs relating to Expatriates, which Ministry of Finance usually handles.
