Legislative decree /80/

President of Syrian Arab Republic

According to provisions of constitution stipulates the following:

Article-1- In accordance to legislative decree no /49/ dated 9/8/1977 and its amendments provided implementing principal of reciprocity treatment, origin certificates and bills of goods that are imported to Syrian Arab Republic from Arab Countries (of national origin ) which are members in Arab Major Free Zone Trade Region Agreement or Arab Countries engaged in bilateral commercial agreements with Syrian Arab Republic ,are exempted from consulate ratification .

Article-2- Directorate of public Custom is responsible for auditing all origin certificates as well as documents attached to the imported goods to Syrian Arab Republic from the above mentioned countries stated in article no /1/ of this decree according to provisions of Arab boycott.

Article-3- this decree is published in official newspaper, and valid from the beginning of month that follows its issuing date.
