The President of Syrian Arab Republic, Dr. Bashar Al-Assad, issued the legislative decrees No./62/ and /63/ for the year 2008 that includes certifying the agreement minute that concerns exempting the diplomatic mission in Syria and Romania from the payment of the Valued Added Tax, as well as certifying the Agreement of Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Romania. Legislative decree No./62/
 
The President of the Republic, according to provisions of constitution, issues the following:
 
Article 1: certifying the agreement minute that concerns the approval on exempting the diplomatic mission to the Syrian Arab Republic and its personnel in Romania from the payment of the Valued Added Tax pertaining to the goods and services, as well as exempting the Romanian diplomatic mission and its personnel in Syria from the payment of taxes and fees of goods and services, which signed in Damascus in 24/6/2008 by both the Minister of Finance in behalf of the Government of Syrian Arab Republic and the Minister of Economy and Finance in behalf of the Government of Romania.
 
Article 2: this legislative decree should be published in Gazette.
